The attractive one is Hannah, the tiny one is Faith and the other one is known as Simon -
he's the parish youth worker. Here's a bit of info about him…
(have you ever written about yourself in the 3rd person - it's not that easy)

   * Name - Simon Jones
   * Family - Hannah is his wife, she has been since 2003 (please remind him when it's
       coming up to 17th May each year!). She has the best job in the world which is bringing
       up Faith who has been their little girl since 2007"
   * Education - Some "
   * Age - depends on when you're reading this (he was around for 3 months in the 70's
       though)"
   * Past jobs - outdoor pursuits instructor, supervisor at Allday's convenience store,
       joiner, bloke who sticks the "Warning this item weighs more than 50kgs" stickers all
       around the B&Q stores, joiner's skivvy, customer services worker, warehouse box
       packer, volunteer director of a Malawian orphan outreach project (work that one out!)"
   * Favourite food - CHEESE!!!!! "
   * More about education - bunch of GCSE's from Mountbatten School in Romsey. Not
       very good A level's from Peter Symmond's college in Winchester. Degree in Applied
       Theology with Youth and Community Work from Moorlands College in Christchurch. "
   * Most embarrassing moment - Having the coast guard called out to rescue him the
       day before starting work as a trainee sailing instructor.

Simon has always gone to church since he was born, something he is profoundly grateful
to his parents for (even though he didn't show it at the time!) Looking back now he sees
how the seemingly irrelevant time he spent at church when he was little was actually just
one of the steps along the journey of faith that he is still on today. That journey took on
new meaning when, some time in his teens, his knowledge about God gradually
transformed into a meaningful relationship with that same God.

He'd love to say that since then that relationship has grown closer and closer each day,
but as with any journey there are good times and bad times; times when you know you're
really making headway and times when you don't feel like you know where you're going
any more. What have kept him on the journey though are the promises that God has
made to him which he'd love to share with you some time. Here's one of them for starters
- God says "I will never leave you or forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5)

That journey of faith has led Simon to Clifton to work as the youth worker in the three
churches and the community. He passionately believes that God loves every young person
and has amazing plans for them. He loves to be surprised by young people, not by them
jumping out in dark alley ways, but by helping them to discover and use the gifts that they
have been given. He is looking forward to helping the young people he meets along on the
journey they are on just like so many people have helped him.

He feels he's written enough now and if you want to know more then you'll have to meet
him and ask him in person.
