What's on for FOR SENIORS

There are a number of activities for those who might be more elderly in age, but who are still young in spirit! Our buildings are all easily accessible, so do join us for our services, either on Sunday or mid-week. Every Saturday, there is a coffee morning at St Mark’s from 10am. This attracts members of the community as well as church-members – just turn up for a time of chat, and coffee with something nice to eat. Crafternoons – Wednesday afternoon at Clifton Moor Church from 1.30pm – 3pm. A place to meet and chat, with refreshments, while doing some craft. Young at Heart, a group of people who meet monthly for chat, games and a meal. Elderberries – coach outings are planned during the summer, up to 4 a year, to various parts of the beautiful north of England. Book early as these trips are very popular. We visit people in their homes – and we visit the care homes in the Parish, taking services and chatting to residents.
