About our vicar

Personal info – My name is Andrew Gready, and l was born in South Africa to missionary parents, who were working for USPG. In all, I have spent 25 years living and working in Southern Africa – my heart is still very much African! I have also spent 25 years living in various parts of the UK so you can see why it is difficult to answer the question ‘Where are you from?’!! We have also spent just over 5 years in The Netherlands, and with Marion being Dutch, this was very special. We have been involved in church planting, in building redevelopment, in community renewal and in international outreach. Ministry has been a real privilege and very exciting. We have three sons who are in the 20’s, and are very much citizens of the world – we are not sure if they are ever going to settle down anywhere.

Andrew Gready

Vicar

Together, we are committed to building community, to making the Church accessible for all, and to issues of social justice in our society. Marion brings very special gifts of hospitality, of worship and of gentleness, that compliment mine of leadership, of mission-focus, and of pastoral care.
